高一英语教学案例随着新一轮的高中课程改革的展开,信息技术给我国的教育事业带来了巨大的挑战。信息技术在教学中的应用引起了教学内容、教学方法、教学组织形式等系列变化,导致了教学思想,教学观念,以及教学体制在一定程度上的变化。本案例就是借助于信息技术制造CAI课件进行辅助教学。
一、教学背景
教学对象是高一学生,英语基础知识和基本技能都是一般水平,对英语学习兴趣不浓,因此,调动学生的学习兴趣,以学生主动学习为目标。
二、教材分析
本课例是高一必修2第五模块里的Lesson 1 Performance部分,围绕“Performance”这一主题,介绍Alanis—A True Performance。让学生阅读文章后完成练习,培养学生的快速阅读能力和正确理解课文细节,获取并正确处理主要信息的能力,以及对词汇的认读和应用能力。要求学生学完本课后能够熟练运用英语表达自己对音乐会的看法,最突出特点是让学生尝试“自主学习,主动思考,乐于协作,勇于创新”。

To practise the vocabulary relating to concerts and performance.

To practise using time clauses with as soon as, when, before... and clause of concession with although / though

Step1:Greetings as usual
Step 2:Lead in
(This step is designed to arouse the students’ interest in Alanis.)
First listen to a song that is sung by Alanis ----everything
T: Now pop songs are popular with teenagers. Have you heard of the song?
What do you think of the song?
S:
T: Do you know who sing it?
S:
T: Teacher show the picture of Alanis ---the superstar, a true performer. Do you want to know her?
S:
T: Now let’s read an article about the superstar, and you will learn more information about her.
Step 3: Reading :
Task 1 Fast reading
(This task is designed to train the students to skim in order to get
the general idea.)
Read the concert review and match the four paragraphs with the titles.

T: Ask the question: How much do you know about her?

T: The Canadian rock singer and song writer, has won Grammy Awards for Best Rock Song. Her has made many albums. She become world-famous singer.
Teacher analyses the structure of the concert review.
Task 2 Careful Reading
(This step is designed to help the Ss understand the passage further. )
Activity 1.Ask the Ss to read the passage carefully and find something about the performance.

Activity 2.Ask the students to find words in the text with the following meanings.

Activity 3.Read the review again and answer these questions.
1>.Did the reviewer like the concert? why or why not?

(This step is to help the Ss understand the text, build their vocabulary and improve their abilities to put what they have learned into practice.)

It 指的是前面的唱片
sold 用做不及物动词, 用主动形式表达被动意义. 其后跟有表销售数量或销售情况好坏的状语.

= put on a performance(上演节目)
5. cause VS. reason
cause指导致某种行为、产生某种结果的或事物, 通常与介词of 连用
reason指通过逻辑判断推出来得理由,指发生某事的缘由或借口, 常与介词for连用

Step 5 Discussion
Grasp the chance to encourage the students to learn from Alanis and
guide them to think about:
T: We know singer’s performance is important for a concert, besides singers concert need other’s stage effect , such as (show a slide)guide student to say out stage design , lighting, special effects and so on.
Task 1:
Qs: Have you ever watched a concert “live”, on TV or on video? Tell the class about it
T: Now let’s have a discussion in group of four.(3 or 4 minutes for the students to discussion.)
Task 2:
Work in pairs and talk about your future plans. Use the expressions below to help you.
go to college, find a job, rent a flat, learn to drive, go on holidays, continue studying

T: OK! I’d like some of you to present your answers about the questions. Any volunteers?
(Ask some students to answer.)
T: Well done! All of you have expressed yourselves fluently,
T: Today we’ve learned the passage about the performance. Alanis is very successful. She realized her dream. Because she works hard and never gives up. I hope all of you work hard to achieve your dream.
Step 6 Grammar
Do the exercise 6and 8
Listen to the telephone conversation. Who decides to pick up the concert tickets , Sue or Ricky? What verb form do Sue and Ricky use to make sudden decisions as they speak?
Do the exercise 7
Listen again. Who said these things, Sur or Ricky?
Check these answers with the whole class and then look at the sentences, what linking words are used?
In order to help students further understand the text the teacher can ask the following questions.
1. Why can’t Ricky pick the tickets up at lunchtime tomorrow?
2. Why can’t he pick them up after school tomorrow?
3. Where does Ricky’s mum work?
4. Where is Sue going after she’s got the tickets?

1. Remember the words and phrases we learned this period.
2. Continue to read the passage after class until you can retell the
text fluently.
Step 8. Teaching Feedback
在实际的教学中,1>有一个班省略了引入部分,让学生直奔主题,采用阅读策略,完成阅读要求,效果还不错,课堂较为紧凑。2>因本课语法部分是初中已学过的知识点,学生已有一定的基础,所以教授过程较为简单,学生掌握较好。
案例分析:
1.利用多媒体制作课件,增大了课堂容量,加大了练习的力度。也加快了课堂的节奏,本课成功地运用了多媒体手段开展学生的学习活动,生动形象地展示了“Performance”,课堂气氛活跃,学生踊跃参加活动并取得了良好的效果。
2.利用课件及图片资源,充分调动学生的学习积极性、自主性和协作性。让学生自主讨论,踊跃发表自己的意见。充分体现了“以学生为本”的教学理念。
3.在整个过程式中始终贯穿着培养学生的各方面能力。全方位开发学生的潜能。这种教学设计克服了传统的教师讲,学生记的弊病,学生在教师引导下学会了思考,学会分析,学会发现,学会表达,真正发挥了学生的主体作用,和教师的主导作用,课堂上能做到全面提高学生的英语能力,通过师生,生生交流合作、探究,取得很好的教学效果。
4.学生普遍对这种上课形式表示欢迎,提高了他们学习英语的兴趣,完全感觉到不同于普通的教学课堂教学。我认为此种授课模式体现了“素质教育”的精神。
